The Stoic Stroll is our invitation to step away from the daily noise and ground ourselves in collective movement through nature. On Saturday 10 October we gather at Grunewald to hike, breathe, and quiet the mind together.
Our theme for this volume is The View From Above (Sympatheia). Rooted in the ancient Stoic practice of reframing perspective, this stroll invites us to step back from micro-stressors, observe our place within the larger landscape, and cultivate mental clarity above the city canopy.
Rather than a fast-paced trek or endurance challenge, this is a non-competitive, synchronized community hike (~7 km) designed to pair the grounding flow of shared steps with intentional reflection. We walk together along broad forest paths, pacing ourselves to the collective energy of the group, ascend Drachenberg, and conclude with a guided hilltop meditation overlooking the Berlin horizon.
Afterwards, we gather to connect over warm drinks. Join us to experience a community built on shared movement, steady perspective, and mental clarity.
